Billing Engineer

Key Responsibilities of a Billing Engineer

  1. Preparing Bills and Invoices

    : Billing Engineers are responsible for preparing detailed bills and invoices based on the work completed at the construction site. They use project plans, contracts, and quantities of materials to determine the cost of work completed and submit it for approval.
  2. Cost Estimation and Quantity Takeoff

    : Billing Engineers work closely with quantity surveyors to estimate project costs. They calculate the quantities of materials required and track usage to ensure that the project is staying within budget.
  3. Tracking Project Progress

    : They monitor the progress of construction projects and compare it with the project schedule and budget to ensure that work is progressing as planned.
  4. Managing Contracts and Payments

    : Billing Engineers manage contracts with contractors and suppliers and ensure that payments are made on time. They also handle the
