Role Overview

The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for creating and maintaining an attractive, on-brand, and commercial visual presentation across stores to drive sales, enhance customer experience, and strengthen brand identity. This role ensures that visual standards are executed consistently in line with seasonal themes, promotions, and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Store Visual Execution

• Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards across all assigned stores.
• Execute window displays, mannequins, and in-store layouts as per seasonal VM guidelines.
• Ensure product placement highlights key styles, new arrivals, and promotional merchandise.

Brand & Aesthetic Alignment

• Maintain brand identity, styling standards, and visual consistency across stores.
• Ensure store visuals reflect current fashion trends while staying aligned with brand DNA.

Sales & Commercial Focus

• Drive sales through effective product storytelling and space planning.
• Analyze sell-through and stock movement to adjust displays for better performance.
• Support category focus, festive launches, and special campaigns.

Coordination & Training

• Coordinate with retail operations, buying, merchandising, and marketing teams.
• Train and guide store staff on VM guidelines, folding standards, and styling techniques.
• Conduct regular store visits and audits; share feedback and improvement plans.

Inventory & Maintenance

• Ensure VM tools, props, signage, and mannequins are well-maintained.
• Monitor store cleanliness, fixtures, lighting, and overall presentation standards.

Reporting & Documentation

• Share visual reports, photographs, and compliance updates with HO.
• Maintain VM checklists and execution timelines.

• Strong sense of fashion, color coordination, and styling
• Understanding of apparel retail and customer buying behavior
• Good planning, execution, and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate / Diploma in Fashion Design, Visual Merchandising, or related field
• 25 years of experience in visual merchandising (fashion/apparel retail preferred)
• Hands-on experience with store setups, mannequins, and window displays

Travel Requirement

• Frequent travel to assigned stores as per business needs
