City Head - West Bengal & North East

As the City Head for Swiggy in Kolkata, your role will involve leading a young and ambitious city team to run the best on-demand food delivery service while constantly raising standards. You will be responsible for driving sustainable growth and incremental market share in West Bengal and North East regions, covering 25 cities. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading the Business, Supply & Operations functions to identify and address existing gaps, and develop innovative strategies to solidify Swiggy's position in both mature and fast-growing markets. - Managing the city's revenues with P&L responsibilities, and overseeing the Sales team to acquire new accounts and maintain relationships with existing partners. - Developing a roadmap for new account acquisition and ensuring its successful implementation. - Strategizing and executing account-related initiatives, from operational troubleshooting to activations. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with partners, serving as the face of Swiggy in the community. - Leading the Operations team to deliver the best customer experience, focusing on areas from Customer Care to Delivery Executive Safety and optimal resource utilization. - Managing administration functions, operational performance reporting, and streamlining processes and systems. - Handling the hiring, training, target setting, and career planning for the City team members. - Engaging in stakeholder management with internal central stakeholders to drive city projects efficiently and resolve any roadblocks effectively. In addition to your role-specific responsibilities, the desired skills for this position include: - Relevant work experience in Sales, Marketing, or Operations with a strong leadership inclination. - Ability to make informed decisions and execute strategic sales and marketing plans. - Visionary thinking to anticipate and address macro factors affecting the business proactively. - Graduation/post-graduation from a premium institute, with demonstrated negotiation and communication skills in English, Hindi, and local languages. - Building and leveraging a wide network of contacts internally and externally. - Demonstrating high ethical standards and integrity in all dealings. Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is a required skill for this role.,
