Job Description

As a Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to drive the growth of distribution and market share in the assigned area of operations. You will be expected to enhance visibility and accountability through the extensive deployment of QR and Sound boxes, leading to increased sales of the product. Identifying and recruiting a strong sales team will be crucial to aligning business objectives and driving success in the market. In this role, you will need to strategically plan the market size, span, and geographies for Assistant Sales Managers (ASMs). It will be essential to devise effective communication methods to relay plans and targets to the team, ensuring minimal gap between expectations and delivery. Monitoring quality parameters as directed by the management and conducting audits on team acquisitions and sales will also be part of your responsibilities. Managing a large team of 5-10 ASMs and over 200 indirect employees will require strong networking capabilities and a willingness to travel extensively within the specified area. Your ability to coach, mentor, and quickly grasp and implement new ideas will be key to your success. To excel in this role, you should be a self-starter capable of taking ownership and navigating ambiguity. With 8-12 years of experience in sales and business development, particularly in B2C markets, you should possess a passion for working in fast-growing firms and handling large teams. Articulating complex solutions to customers, demonstrating strong sales and negotiation skills, and having experience in quota-driven sales are essential skills for this position. A Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Marketing is required for this role.
