Role Description

Cisco Nexus Trainer

live virtual sessions


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver

    live, instructor-led sessions

    on Cisco Nexus 9K/7K/5K platforms and NX-OS.
  • Cover topics such as

    vPC

    ,

    VDC

    ,

    FabricPath

    ,

    VXLAN

    ,

    EVPN

    , and

    LISP

    .
  • Design and update

    lab exercises

    ,

    slide decks

    , and

    real-world simulation scenarios

    .
  • Use virtual platforms such as

    EVE-NG

    ,

    Cisco dCloud

    , or

    Nexus simulators

    to conduct hands-on labs.
  • Mentor students preparing for

    CCNP DC

    ,

    CCIE DC

    , or real-world job roles.
  • Provide support through Q&A, doubt-clearing sessions, and recorded demos if required.


Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on expertise in

    Cisco Nexus architecture and data center switching

    .
  • In-depth knowledge of

    NX-OS

    , Layer 2/3 features, overlay technologies, and data center fabric designs.
  • Cisco certifications such as

    CCNP Data Center

    ,

    CCIE Data Center

    (preferred).
  • Prior experience in

    training, mentoring

    , or corporate education.
  • Comfortable using lab environments like

    EVE-NG

    ,

    PNETLab

    , or Cisco’s virtual solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Availability during

    evening or weekend hours

    (IST preferred).
