Role Overview

Tier 3 Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Act as
Tier 3 escalation point
for complex network issues, with emphasis on Cisco wireless systems including controllers, access points, authentication mechanisms, and RF-related challenges.
Lead end-to-end troubleshooting across
WLAN, LAN, and WAN
, addressing packet flow issues, RF interference, roaming problems, and authentication failures.
Implement, fine-tune, and support Cisco wireless solutions such as
9800/Catalyst controllers
,
DNA Center/Prime
, and
ISE/802.1X
authentication frameworks.
Support and contribute to
Cisco SD-WAN
, routing, and firewall operations, helping streamline device and hardware management across the network.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability, performance, and security.
