Job Title:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cisco ACI Engineer/Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable and secure Cisco ACI-based data center infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Cisco ACI architecture, deployment, and management, as well as experience with automation tools and scripting languages.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Implementation:

• Design and implement Cisco ACI-based data center infrastructures, including fabric, endpoint groups, and policies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other infrastructure components.

• Develop and maintain documentation for Cisco ACI designs, configurations, and deployment procedures.

2. Configuration and Deployment:

• Configure and deploy Cisco ACI fabrics, including APIC (Application Policy Infrastructure Controller) management.

• Implement and manage Cisco ACI policies, including endpoint groups, contracts, and filters.

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using languages like Python, PowerShell, or Ansible.

3. Troubleshooting and Optimization:

• Troubleshoot complex Cisco ACI issues, including fabric, endpoint, and policy-related problems.

• Optimize Cisco ACI performance, scalability, and security.

• Collaborate with vendors and Cisco support teams to resolve critical issues.

4. Knowledge Sharing and Training:

• Develop and deliver training sessions for Cisco ACI-related topics, including architecture, deployment, and management.

• Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues and other teams.

5. Continuous Learning:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest Cisco ACI releases, features, and best practices.

• Participate in Cisco ACI-related community forums, webinars, and workshops.

Requirements:

1. Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

2. Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in data center infrastructure design, implementation, and management.

• 2+ years of experience with Cisco ACI, including deployment, configuration, and management.

3. Technical Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of Cisco ACI architecture, deployment, and management.

• Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Python, or PowerShell.

• Familiarity with data center networking protocols, including L2-L4.

• Knowledge of security protocols and best practices.

4. Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Nice to Have:

1. Industry Certifications:

• Cisco ACI design and implementation certifications (e.g., ACI-DE).

• Data center infrastructure certifications (e.g., DCICN, DCICT).

2. Cloud Experience:

• Experience with cloud-based data center infrastructure, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.

3. Scripting Languages:

• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Ansible.
