We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chinese Cook to prepare a variety of Chinese dishes using traditional techniques and authentic ingredients. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Chinese cooking styles such as Sichuan, Cantonese, Hunan, and Indo-Chinese fusion, with experience in using wok cooking methods.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, cook, and present Chinese dishes (starters, rice, noodles, gravies, soups) as per standard recipes.
Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards in the kitchen at all times.
Ensure food is cooked and served in a timely manner during peak hours.
Monitor portion and waste control to maintain food cost.
Check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure standards are met.
Follow all safety and sanitation policies during food preparation and storage.
Assist in managing kitchen inventory and ordering ingredients when required.
Cooperate with other kitchen staff and support them as needed.
Innovate and develop new Chinese menu items based on customer demand and seasonal availability.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Chinese Cook or in a similar role.
Expertise in wok handling and Chinese cooking techniques.
Knowledge of hygiene and safety regulations in food handling.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Team player with good communication and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
