Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chinese Chef to join our restaurant team. The candidate should be able to prepare authentic Chinese dishes with consistency, creativity, and high quality. The role involves handling kitchen operations, ensuring hygiene, and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook authentic Chinese cuisine (starters, main course, noodles, fried rice, soups, sauces, etc.).
Ensure taste, flavor, and presentation meet restaurant standards.
Plan and execute daily kitchen operations efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in the kitchen.
Monitor stock of ingredients, sauces, vegetables, and supplies; report shortages to management.
Train and supervise kitchen staff/helpers when required.
Control food costs, portion sizes, and minimize wastage.
Innovate and add new dishes or variations to the menu as per customer trends.
Handle bulk orders while maintaining consistency.
Coordinate with management to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Chinese Chef / Cook in a restaurant or hotel.
Expertise in Chinese cooking techniques (stir-frying, steaming, deep-frying, etc.).
Strong knowledge of sauces, seasonings, and authentic Chinese flavors.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
Team player with discipline, cleanliness, and time management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
