Key Responsibilities

Technology Leadership

• Define and execute the long-term technical vision in alignment with product and business goals.
• Architect scalable systems for real-time trading, data analytics, and API-based financial services.
• Stay ahead of fintech and stock market technology trends (e.g., algo trading, ML-based signals).

Engineering & Development

• Lead and grow high-performing engineering and DevOps teams.
• Set engineering culture and standards around quality, testing, security, and continuous deployment.
• Oversee the development lifecycle, from technical scoping to deployment and monitoring.

Platform & Infrastructure

• Ensure robust infrastructure to support low-latency data feeds, high-volume transactions, and uptime requirements.
• Implement and optimize cloud-based solutions (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Build APIs and services that support integrations with brokers, exchanges, and financial data providers.

Security & Compliance

• Oversee security architecture and implementation especially for systems handling user portfolios, trading, and personal data.
• Ensure compliance with relevant market regulations (SEBI, FINRA,

• Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with Product, Data, and Growth teams to deliver impactful features and updates.
• Communicate technical strategy to the executive team, investors, and external partners.

Key Qualifications

• 8+ years in tech leadership roles, ideally in fintech or stock-market-related platforms.
• Strong background in designing and scaling real-time, high-availability systems.
• Experience with market data APIs (e.g., Bloomberg, Alpha Vantage, IEX, NSE/BSE feeds, etc.).
• Proficient in modern tech stacks (Node.js, Python, Go, Java) and real-time data tools
• Deep understanding of capital markets, trading systems, or portfolio management tools.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience integrating with brokerage APIs or building custom trading platforms.
• Knowledge of algorithmic trading, robo-advisory systems, or AI/ML for financial forecasting.
• Familiarity with financial regulations, licensing, and investor data handling.
• Experience with tools like FIX protocol, QuantConnect, TradingView, or MetaTrader.
