Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Command: Direct, manage, and oversee daily operations of the

  Security Department

  , including all

  Assistant Security Officers (ASOs)

  and frontline staff.
• Assign duties, schedules, and posts for ASOs, and ensure proper supervision and discipline.
• Conduct regular briefings, debriefings, and operational audits with ASO teams.
• SOP Development & Enforcement: Develop and implement comprehensive

  Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  for all aspects of site security, including access control, patrolling, surveillance, incident handling, and emergency response.
• Ensure all ASOs are

  trained, evaluated, and compliant

  with current SOPs.
• Periodically review and update SOPs based on risk assessments and operational needs.
• Physical Security Oversight: Manage and maintain

  access control systems

  ,

  CCTV surveillance

  , visitor management, and perimeter defences.
• Oversee response to security incidents, alarms, emergencies, and violations.
• Implement layered security strategies for high-risk zones and critical infrastructure.
• Training & Readiness: Design and deliver

  training programs

  for ASOs, including drills on emergency procedures (fire, theft, medical, intrusion, etc.).
• Conduct

  mock drills and audits

  to evaluate preparedness and response efficiency.
• Promote a culture of vigilance, accountability, and professionalism within the security team.
• Compliance, Reporting & Liaison: Maintain detailed logs, incident reports, and operational records.
• Liaise with law enforcement, emergency responders, and regulatory agencies when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, industry standards, and internal policies.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelors degree in Security Management, Criminology, Public Administration, or related field (preferred), EX-serviceman
• 8–12 years of experience in

  security management

  , including 3–5 years in a leadership role overseeing ASOs or equivalent personnel.
• Strong knowledge of

  guarding operations

  ,

  access control

  emergency procedures

  SOP implementation

• Experience managing large security teams, especially in industrial, commercial, or institutional environments.

Certification:

• CPP

  – Certified Protection Professional

• PSO Certification

  or equivalent (varies by country)
• Fire Safety and First Aid certifications (advantageous)
