Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Lead all Rolling Stockrelated activities across the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and contract requirements.
Review and approve designs, specifications, and engineering documentation related to Rolling Stock.
Oversee procurement activities, vendor evaluations, and technical assessments for Rolling Stock systems.
Supervise the implementation, testing, and commissioning phases to ensure timely and successful delivery.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and client representatives.
Provide expert technical guidance and ensure adherence to international standards and best practices.
Monitor project progress, prepare technical reports, and participate in high-level technical meetings.
Support certification, safety approvals, and reliability/availability targets for Rolling Stock fleets.

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum 20 years of post-qualification experience in any rail-based passenger transit system.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the design, procurement, implementation, testing, and commissioning of Rolling Stock for rail-based passenger transit systems.
Experience must be at the level of Chief Rolling Stock Expert or an equivalent senior position.
