Chief Proctor

As a Chief Proctor, your primary responsibility will be to uphold the institute's code of conduct by enforcing student discipline. This includes addressing instances of misconduct and implementing necessary disciplinary actions when required. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive learning environment by monitoring student behavior both inside and outside the classroom to identify potential issues and ensure a conducive atmosphere for learning. Another key aspect of your role will involve conflict resolution. You will be responsible for mediating disputes between students, faculty, or staff members and finding amicable solutions to foster a harmonious environment within the institute. Keeping accurate and detailed records of disciplinary actions, student complaints, and other relevant incidents will also be part of your duties. Effective communication is essential in this role. You will need to communicate efficiently with students, parents, and faculty members regarding disciplinary matters and institute policies. Collaborating with security personnel to ensure the safety and security of the institute's premises and students will also be a key component of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will be expected to coordinate with other departments, such as academics and administration, to address student-related issues. Conducting regular meetings with proctors, if any, to discuss student performance, behavior, and any emerging issues will also be part of your role. In some cases, you may also be involved in the supervision of examinations to prevent cheating or other malpractices. This is a full-time position with benefits including Provident Fund.
