Chief Medical Superintendent

As a Medical Director, you will have a pivotal role in ensuring clinical oversight and quality assurance within the hospital setting. Your responsibilities will include implementing standard treatment protocols, monitoring the quality of patient care and clinical outcomes, leading medical audits, morbidity-mortality meetings, and internal quality checks, as well as ensuring hospital compliance with legal, accreditation, and ethical standards. Additionally, you will provide administrative leadership by supervising day-to-day operations across clinical departments, coordinating with department heads for resource planning and workflow management, and ensuring the proper execution of hospital policies and protocols. You will also lead recruitment and performance evaluation of medical staff, mentor department heads and junior doctors, and handle interdepartmental coordination and grievance resolution. Furthermore, you will be involved in financial and resource management by assisting in preparing and monitoring departmental budgets, ensuring the optimal use of hospital resources, and identifying opportunities for cost optimization and service efficiency. You will also be responsible for external and internal stakeholder management, acting as the face of the hospital for all medical liaisons, representing the hospital at public health forums, medical associations, and conferences, and maintaining healthy relationships with regulatory bodies and partner institutions. In terms of strategy and growth planning, you will contribute to the long-term planning of new departments or service lines, implement patient safety initiatives and innovation in care delivery, and monitor patient feedback to implement improvement plans. This role is full-time and requires availability for morning shifts with the work location being in person.,
