Chief Manager - Forest

As the Chief Manager - Forest at Serentica Renewables, your role involves coordinating and managing corporate affairs for the Renewable Business. You will be responsible for creating customized accelerated plans for obtaining Forest and Wildlife (F&WL) clearance to ensure on-time project delivery. Your key accountabilities and responsibilities include: - Planning budgets to maintain cost efficiency. - Cross-functional coordination to support project execution. - Providing technical support across projects to ensure robust execution of processes for timely availability of Forest & Wildlife Clearances. - Ensuring strict Environment, Forest, and Wildlife compliance of states and MoEF&CC. - Exploring and identifying levers to expedite work, such as pro-active alignment with forest officials and outsourcing agencies. - Strengthening communication strategy by coordinating closely with Forest officials at different levels. - Being well-versed in rules, regulations, and processes to obtain Forest, Wildlife, and CRZ clearances. - Understanding the bidding process, including area assessment, budget preparation, and risk assessment for linear projects. - Preparing and submitting Forest & Wildlife proposals on PARIVESH. You will also be responsible for: - Quality checks of Forest & Wildlife proposals before submission to ensure all requirements are fulfilled. - Supporting COE cell in developing and reviewing Environment, Forest, and Wildlife plans, policies, and legal frameworks.
