Job Description

The CEO will lead the companys strategic direction, drive significant revenue growth, and ensure operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in scaling businesses within the manufacturing or refractory industries. This role requires a seasoned leader who can inspire teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and navigate the competitive landscape to achieve the company’s ambitious growth targets

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a long-term growth strategy to expand VVRLs revenue from INR 100 Crore to INR 1000 Crore.
  • Leverage the company’s 30+ years of experience to enhance its competitive positioning and market share.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities, including international expansion and product innovation.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee the company’s operations, ensuring the highest standards of efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and customer service.
  • Implement innovative practices that build on VVRL’s legacy while preparing the organization for future challenges.

Financial Management:

  • Manage the company’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Optimize capital structure and manage relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure robust financial controls and risk management practices are in place, aligning with VVRL’s long-standing reputation for stability.

Team Leadership:

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing executive team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Drive talent acquisition and retention strategies to attract and retain top industry talent, building on the company’s established workforce.
  • Encourage a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Represent the company to key stakeholders, including shareholders, customers, suppliers, and industry bodies.
  • Maintain transparent and effective communication with the Board of Directors, leveraging their expertise and insights.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with key industry players, government bodies, and local communities in Bhilai and beyond.

Compliance and Governance:

  • Ensure that the company complies with all legal, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and corporate governance, reflecting the company’s long-standing values and integrity.
