Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for telecom subsystems, including design review, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover. Develop and implement detailed project plans , schedules, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure timely and quality delivery. Oversee the design, configuration, and integration of telecom subsystems such as Telephone Systems, CCTV, Passenger Information Systems (PIS), Passenger Announcement Systems (PAS), Master Clocks, Radio Systems, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection Systems. Coordinate with cross-functional teams , including signaling & train control (S&TC), SCADA, fire management, rolling stock, and building management teams to ensure system interoperability. Manage material delivery , installation progress, site activities, and ensure adherence to technical specifications and safety standards. Conduct regular project reviews and status reporting to senior management and clients, managing stakeholder expectations and facilitating communication. Handle contract management aspects including negotiating claims, managing Extension of Time (EoT) requests, and controlling project costs. Implement quality assurance and control processes to ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards. Ensure the timely delivery of configuration data, engineering documentation, operation manuals, and as-built drawings . Lead and support testing and commissioning activities, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring successful system acceptance. Foster strong customer relationships and act as the primary liaison with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Monitor and control project financials including budgeting, forecasting, and working capital management. Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory changes relevant to telecom subsystems in rail infrastructure. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline. Minimum 8 years of project management experience in telecom subsystem projects, preferably in Metro, Railway, or High-Speed Rail environments. Proven track record managing complex telecom subsystem projects involving Telephone Systems, CCTV, PIS, PAS, Master Clocks, Radio, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection systems. Strong knowledge of telecom standards, rail industry safety protocols, and integration requirements. Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is preferred. Skills & Competencies Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficient in project scheduling and management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contractual documents. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Customer-focused with a collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams. Preferred Experience in system integration with signaling, SCADA, fire management, and rolling stock systems. Familiarity with international rail standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, EN, IEEE). Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) and Safety Management (ISO 45001).
