Job Description

IDP School is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Chess Instructor to conduct engaging chess sessions for students of various age groups. The instructor will foster a fun and educational environment where students can develop strategy, focus, and confidence through the game of chess.

Responsibilities

• Conduct chess classes for students (in-person at the school campus).
• Design age-appropriate and engaging lesson plans.
• Teach chess fundamentals, tactics, and strategy.
• Prepare and guide students for inter-school and local chess tournaments.
• Track student progress and provide feedback.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of chess fundamentals and strategies.
• Prior experience teaching or coaching chess preferred.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Passionate about teaching and working with children.
