You will be responsible for the following tasks as a Chemist at Vaidyaratnam Oushadhasala Pvt. Ltd's Thaikkattussery Unit: - Carrying out all analysis work of Raw materials - Non-Herbals as per the quality plan. - Preparation and standardization of reagents. - Testing of non-herbal samples from the purchase department and preparation of in-house test reports. - Ensuring timely test completion and taking responsibility for ERP entry of non-herbals. - Analysis of raw materials and products related to Accreditation. - Proper updating and maintenance of log books, workbooks, registers, files related to non-herbals. - Testing of non-herbal samples from sister concerns (Gulgulu extract, camphor, Lohbhasmams, etc.). - Periodic calibration of sophisticated equipment (UV spectrometer, Gerber centrifuge) and glassware. - Stock maintenance of glassware. Qualifications required for this position: - MSc in Chemistry - Experience: 1 to 3 years (Freshers can also apply) - Local candidates are preferred. In addition to the responsibilities mentioned above, you will also need to perform tasks related to the analysis and testing of non-herbal materials, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring accurate documentation.
