Chemist – Development (Polymer & Resin Chemistry) Immediate Opening for Qualified Chemist with Experience in Phenol Formaldehyde Resins Job DescriptionWe are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Chemist to join our team for development work in the field of polymer and resin chemistry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background and relevant practical experience, particularly in the area of Phenol Formaldehyde Resins. Key Responsibilities·      Conduct research and development activities relating to polymer chemistry and resins. ·      Formulate, synthesise, and characterise new resin products, with a focus on Phenol Formaldehyde systems. ·      Optimise existing product formulations and manufacturing processes. ·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and marketing. ·      Prepare technical documentation and present findings to management and clients as needed. ·      Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Educational Qualifications·      Master’s degree (MSc/MTech) in Chemistry, preferably with specialisation in Polymer Chemistry or Resins. ·      PhD in Chemistry (Polymer Chemistry or Resins) will be an added advantage. Experience & Skills·      Prior hands-on experience in working with Phenol Formaldehyde Resins is highly desirable and will be given preference. ·      Strong foundation in organic and polymer chemistry principles. ·      Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and development work. ·      Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. ·      Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
