Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chemist, located in Mumbai. The Chemist will be responsible for conducting experiments, analyzing data, and developing chemical processes. Day-to-day tasks include preparing compounds, conducting quality control tests, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The Chemist will also be involved in the research and development of new chemical formulas and processes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of chemistry principles and laboratory techniques
• Experience in conducting experiments and analyzing data
• Ability to develop and optimize chemical processes
• Proficiency in quality control and ensuring compliance with industry standards
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Relevant experience in the Oil & Gas, Water Purification, or Biofuel industries is a plus
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related fields

Must Have Qualifications

Experience creating and testing formulations in paints & coatings, precipitated silica industry

Hands-on experience with cyclic voltammetry, XRD, SEM, ICP-AES, BET, PSA, EIS etc

2 years of experience in industry laboratories performing and leading research (energy storage technologies R&D experience preferred, electrode and electrolyte formulations preferred)

Must be located in commutable distance to Pune, Maharashtra, India
