HCP Wellness Private Limited is a leading manufacturer of high-quality private-label skin care , cosmetics, and oral care products

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Chemist to join our team in Bavla, Ahmedabad The ideal candidate will be responsible for formulating, testing, and ensuring the quality of cosmetic, skin care, and oral care products in compliance with industry standards

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize formulations for skin care, cosmetics, and oral care products Conduct lab-scale trials, stability testing, and performance evaluations Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, and regulatory standards (eg BIS, FDA, COSMOS) Perform quality control (QC) tests (pH, viscosity, stability, microbial testing, etc) Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, marketing, suppliers) Maintain accurate documentation (batch records, SOPs, test reports) Troubleshoot formulation and production issues Stay updated on industry trends, raw materials, and regulatory changes

Qualifications & Skills:

Hard Skills:

Strong knowledge of cosmetic chemistry, emulsion systems, surfactants, and preservatives Experience in R&D, formulation, or QC in cosmetics/skin care/oral care Familiarity with HPLC, FTIR, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, and other lab equipment Understanding of regulatory guidelines (FDA, EU Cosmetics Regulation, etc)

Soft Skills:

Analytical mindset & problem-solving skills Attention to detail & commitment to quality Strong communication & teamwork abilities Adaptability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Education & Certifications:

B Sc/M Sc in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or related field Additional certification in Cosmetic Science/Quality Control (preferred)

Preferred Experience:

1-3 years in cosmetic/skin care/oral care formulation or QC Experience with private label manufacturing (a plus)
