Job Description

Role Overview: As a Chemical Cleaning Process Engineer at Varex Imaging, you will be responsible for ensuring that the work area meets established cleanliness and safety standards. You will utilize your thorough knowledge of multiple chemicals such as acids, alkaline, solvents, and detergents for chemical handling, preparation, and disposal. Your role will also involve managing chemical baths, understanding the chemical processes of multiple parts, and ensuring proper disposal of various chemicals in compliance with norms. Additionally, you will gather parts, use the right fixtures for different parts, and clean and prepare parts according to specifications and work instructions. Familiarity with plating operations, assembly of parts, heat treatment processes, sand/grit blasting operations, and handling various parts like glass components and metal parts will be essential. You will also be responsible for maintaining records of chemicals, performing acceptance tests, recording test data, conducting daily maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and training new operators on chemical cleaning processes. Furthermore, you will be proficient in creating, reviewing, and editing technical documents, managing projects, organizing meetings with cross-functional teams, and documenting work according to company standards and industry regulations.
