Chef - Nutrifresh Food Processing

Key Responsibilities: Managerial Responsibilities (Talegaon Warehouse):

• Supervise and coordinate with the Managerial Chef and production team.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely output.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, hygiene protocols, and food safety standards.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and request replenishment when needed.
• Train and guide staff on cutting, grading, sorting, and food preparation techniques.
• Maintain production schedules and ensure quality standards for all RTE products.

Operational Responsibilities (Warehouse & Aundh):

• Perform cutting, grading, and sorting of vegetables and ingredients for ready-to-eat products.
• Prepare and assemble salads, sandwiches, and other RTE items as per recipes.
• Ensure proper portioning, consistency, and presentation of all products.
• Conduct quality checks on raw materials before preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness of the workstation, tools, and equipment at all times.
• Follow temperature control and storage procedures for all perishable items.
• Reduce wastage by handling products carefully and following correct processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Chef / Kitchen Assistant / RTE Food Handler.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen operations.
• Strong cutting, chopping, and grading skills.
• Ability to manage time, multitask, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Team supervision and coordination experience (preferred for Talegaon role).
• Attention to detail with a focus on product quality and consistency.

Work Conditions:

• Ability to work in cold-room environments when required.
• Flexible to work early morning or shift-based timings.
• Must maintain high hygiene and personal grooming standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,525.84 - ₹38,685.99 per month
