Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting Continental dishes to the highest standards. Additionally, you will manage and oversee the assigned kitchen station efficiently, ensuring proper mise-en-place is prepared for service hours while maintaining cleanliness and organization at all times. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards. - Monitor and control wastage and portion sizes for cost efficiency. - Perform regular quality checks on ingredients, storage, and final dishes. - Guide and train Commis chefs and junior team members in food preparation. - Communicate effectively with other kitchen sections and service staff. - Monitor stock levels, communicate replenishment needs to Sous Chef, and assist in inventory checks and stock control. - Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation across all dishes. - Innovate and suggest new recipes or improvements to existing dishes. Qualifications Required: - Prior experience in preparing Continental dishes. - Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards. - Excellent communication skills for effective team coordination. - Ability to manage inventory and stock levels efficiently. Please note that the job type for this position is Full-time, Permanent. The benefits include food provided, health insurance, and Provident Fund. The work location will be in person.
