As a Chef (Chinese/Continental) for our client in the hospitality industry based in Delhi, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Oversee daily kitchen activities to ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. - Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design and update the Chinese menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients and guest preferences. - Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to culinary standards. - Monitor food preparation and presentation to maintain consistency and quality. - Manage inventory levels, place orders, and ensure proper storage of ingredients. - Assist in controlling food costs by minimizing waste and optimizing ingredient usage.
