Job Description

Job Title: Chartered Accountant

Chartered Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and compliance functions.
Handle audits (internal, statutory, and tax) and liaise with auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
Oversee direct and indirect taxation, including filings, assessments, and planning.
Ensure adherence to all statutory and legal requirements, including ROC, Income Tax, GST, etc.
Review and manage high-value transactions ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Develop and implement effective financial controls, processes, and reporting systems.
Provide insights and analysis to support strategic decisions and budgeting processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to group-level financial planning and consolidation.

Ideal Candidate Should Have:

Qualified Chartered Accountant with a strong academic background.
Proven experience in finance, accounts, audit, taxation, and compliance.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and corporate financial practices.
Demonstrated ability to manage high-value transactions and complex financial operations.
Prior experience working in a corporate or group company environment is preferred.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership qualities and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office tools (especially Excel).
