Role Description Manage the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation. End-to-end responsibility of maintaining the books of accounts of specific entities under Shriram Group, applying the right framework and accounting principles and standards (Ind AS) as prescribed under the Companies Act, 2013. General Ledger entries and reconciliation. Quarterly preparation of financial statements and results for submission to stock exchanges. Participate in the ongoing development/ establishment of accounting policies, procedures and SOPs including the review and implementation of process and system changes. Collaborate with external auditors, internal auditors and Cost auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance. Responsible for chart of accounts and accuracy in the general ledger and financial statements and ensuring complete accuracy in classification and booking of all transactions. Assist with compilation of information for preparation of tax returns. Assistance to legal and corporate finance teams for fundraising activities, data requests, agreement suggestions pertaining to books of accounts Intercompany/Related party transactions (both inbound/outbound) invoicing, month end reconciliation General Ledger entries and reconciliation of quarterly financial number with books Any other role-related tasks that may come up from time to time in the normal course of business. Desired Candidate Profile CA with at least 0 - 2 years of relevant experience Strong accounting skills with an up-to-date knowledge of Accounting standards and Corporate laws Strong Ind AS skills required. Basic knowledge about GST and income tax act. Ability to work independently and as a team member with excellent interpersonal skills. Knowledge of working on SAP will be added advantage Taking ownership and leading new initiatives. Ability to Multi-task and work under pressure Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
