Job Description

As an Internal Audit Professional, you will be responsible for leading and managing internal audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, encompassing listed and unlisted entities in various sectors such as manufacturing, telecommunications, retail, healthcare, pharma, real estate, and education. Your role will involve client interaction, project management, stakeholder engagement, and the application of technical expertise. Your key responsibilities will include serving as the main point of contact for multiple clients, managing expectations, timelines, and deliverables. You will be tasked with planning and executing risk-based internal audits and reviews in compliance with relevant standards and client-specific requirements. It will be essential to comprehend client business processes, identify control gaps, and devise process enhancements that contribute value. Collaboration with cross-functional teams like Tax, CFO, and Advisory will be necessary to provide integrated client solutions. Additionally, you will lead audit teams through planning, work allocation, supervision, and mentoring of junior team members. Presenting audit findings and recommendations to client leadership with clarity and confidence is also a significant aspect of this role. Staying abreast of industry-specific risks and trends across key sectors will be crucial, as well as drafting detailed audit reports, executive summaries, and dashboards for senior management and audit committees. Building strong, trust-based relationships with key client stakeholders such as CFOs, Heads of Internal Audit, and Audit Committees is a key component of this position. Remaining updated on evolving regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and risk frameworks is imperative. Moreover, you should have the ability to lead a team of 4-5 professionals effectively. The desired skills and qualifications for this role include being a Qualified CA with a minimum of 1+ years of relevant post-qualification experience, preferably from a consulting background. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with experience in Internal Controls and Reporting framework. Possessing strong interpersonal and client management skills will be advantageous for succeeding in this role.,
