📄 Job Description: Contract-Based Accounting & GST Associate (Intern Level)

Location: Delhi (Remote)

About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and driven individual with a background in accounting or GST compliance to join us on a contract basis. This role involves assisting in GST registration, invoicing, return filings, and general compliance tasks across our business and client projects in the travel and digital marketing space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle GST registration applications and documentation
• Assist in preparing and filing GSTR-1, GSTR-3B
• Generate compliant GST invoices for services
• Maintain basic books of accounts (Excel/Zoho/Tally)
• Help with TDS-related tracking and vendor records
• Coordinate with the founder for updates or notices

Requirements:

• Background in Commerce / Accounting / CA (Pursuing / Dropout / Article Assistant)
• Familiarity with GST rules, formats, and filing process
• Working knowledge of Tally, Excel, or cloud accounting tools
• Good communication and follow-up skills
• Ability to work independently and handle compliance deadlines

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with small businesses or startups
• Prior involvement with travel or service-based businesses
• Familiarity with cloud tools like Zoho, QuickBooks, or Razorpay
