Chartered Accountant

As a member of the Financial Accounting and Reporting team, you will specialize in financial reporting through IFRS and FGAAP, including reporting for complex entities/products and taxation, financial accounting for various structured products/entities, and consolidation of financials including intercompany reconciliation and global CIB Intercompany coordination. Your responsibilities will include: - Preparing and booking daily/monthly entries such as Accrual, MTM booking, etc. - Enforcing controls to ensure balance sheets are in balance and preparing balance sheet reconciliation schedules. - Reviewing daily transactional account activity for posting errors and back-value transactions. - Analyzing, reconciling, and reviewing all accounts under your responsibility by performing variance analysis of revenue/balance sheet items. - Assisting with audit requests from External Audit, Regulators, and internal control teams. - Performing financial reporting, analysis, and related activities for multiple legal entities. - Assisting in preparing financial statements (US GAAP and IFRS). In addition, you will have contributing responsibilities such as: - Participating in upgrades/version releases of respective reporting tools and assisting in user acceptance testing. - Identifying operational process improvements to increase team efficiency and effectiveness. - Observing the bank's policies and procedures. - Assisting in special projects or requests as directed by management. The specific qualifications required for this role include: - CA/Inter CA/PCC/IPCC/MBA Furthermore, you should possess the following qualities: - Ability to deliver excellent results within established timeframes while managing multiple priorities. - Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Self-starter and team player, capable of working independently and collaboratively in a deadline-focused environment. Requirements for this position are: - CA attempts 1st, 2nd, or 3rd max. - No outstation candidates. - In-person interviews are mandatory. - Excellent Communication skills.,
