Charity Fundraiser

As a Charity Fundraiser, your role involves developing and implementing fundraising strategies, cultivating relationships with donors, and organizing campaigns or events to raise money for a cause. You will be responsible for researching potential donors, creating fundraising messages, managing donor databases, and working with volunteers and staff to achieve financial goals. Key responsibilities include: - Developing and implementing fundraising strategies and campaigns - Creating and managing fundraising goals - Planning and executing fundraising events, such as galas, walks, or auctions - Researching new funding opportunities and staying updated on fundraising trends You will also be responsible for: - Identifying, researching, and contacting potential individual and corporate donors - Cultivating and maintaining relationships with existing donors to ensure their continued support - Developing compelling messages that explain the charity's mission and needs - Managing donor records and communications in a database Additionally, you will: - Create and distribute fundraising materials, such as newsletters, appeals, and reports - Promote the organization's mission and work through various channels, including social media and presentations - Build relationships with stakeholders, including community leaders and the media In terms of event management and operations, you will: - Organize events and create materials like bid sheets or gift bags - Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers for fundraising activities - Monitor the success of events and campaigns and evaluate performance - Ensure all legal reporting requirements are met for donations Please note that this is a full-time position with a commission-based job type, and the work location is in person.,
