Job Title:

Domain:

The Charge Entry Executive is responsible for accurately entering patient and procedure charges into the billing system to ensure timely and correct claim submission in accordance with US healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Enter charges from source documents such as encounter forms, operative notes, and EOBs into the billing system
Review medical documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy of charge data
Verify CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes as per documentation
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and US healthcare billing guidelines
Identify and report charge discrepancies, missing information, or potential billing errors
Coordinate with coding, billing, and AR teams to resolve charge-related issues
Maintain productivity and quality standards as defined by the organization
Adhere to client-specific billing rules and turnaround time (TAT)
