Masters Degree: Preferably in Automotive Engineering, Battery Technology or related field

ER&D team is looking for a simulation engineer with solid understanding on cell chemistry and experience on battery cell chemistry simulations

Duties and Responsibilities

• Calibration and validation of existing models based on new data sets
• Analyzing simulation model requirements and goals
• Choosing appropriate simulation method
• Handling simulation inputs and outputs
• Prepare and share model and simulation results as per customer requirement
• Combining simulation models into larger systems
• Performing optimization using simulations
• Managing data and configurations
• Automation and Digitalization of the data management and simulation process
• Continuously improve simulation automation processes
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including scientists and engineers

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in component and system modelling
• Solid understanding on battery/ cell chemistry
• Proficient in Matlab/Simulink and/or COMSOL Multiphysics
• Good understanding of Python and/or Java programming
• Managing large amounts of data - creation of scripts for automatic data handling (Excel, Matlab/Simulink, Python/Java)
