Mechanical Engineer experience in Li-Ion Battery Pack CFD simulations. (with automotive background) EDUCATION : • BE/B.TECH in Mechanical Engineering/equivalent EXPERIENCE : • 5 to 7 Years of experience in Mechanical CFD simulations preferably having experience in automotive background. RESPONSIBILITIES : • Analyze the customer requirements, standards, product requirements and prepare detailed CFD simulation specification. • CFD simulation of Battery pack assembly – Heat Transfer Simulation considering fluid-solid bodies, considering thin components (e.g. 0.03mm thickness), Ohmic heating, using StarCCM. • Independently able to choose relevant physics for the given problem. • Meshing to be done in StarCCM. (experience in surface correction required to be done in StarCCM) • Perform 1D calculations before doing heat transfer analysis in StarCCM to confirm the simulation results. • Understand the simulation to be performed and set the judgement criteria for the analysis.
