Job Description

The Certified Financial Planner will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and implementing personalized financial plans tailored to new and existing clients. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of financial planning principles, investment strategies, and mutual fund products. The incumbent will conduct financial need analyses, design goal-based investment plans, perform portfolio restructuring, and prepare detailed investment proposals. Proficiency in analytical tools such as Looker Studio, NGEN, and CRM platforms is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to deliver high-quality financial advice aligned with client objectives.

Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Prepare and review comprehensive financial plans for new and existing clients.
  • Conduct Financial Need Analysis (FNA) to assess client goals, risk profiles, and investment capacities.
  • Revise and optimize existing financial plans based on market trends, client life stage changes, and evolving financial objectives.

Investment Strategy & Proposal Development

  • Design and implement bucket strategies for retirement planning and financial freedom.
  • Prepare customized investment proposals and portfolio recommendations for HNI/UHNI clients.
  • Restructure client portfolios based on changing financial goals, market performance, and risk appetite.
  • Conduct in-depth fund analysis to identify suitable products based on risk-return parameters and historical performance.

Reporting & Data Management

  • Generate NGEN market reports and fund performance analyses, translating data into actionable insights.
  • Create and manage dashboards and visual reports in Google Looker Studio for management and client reviews.
  • Prepare and deliver professional presentations (PPTs) for client meetings, internal reviews, and financial planning discussions.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant financial planning records and documentation.

Client Coordination & Support

  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers (RMs) to ensure seamless client onboarding, review meetings, and service delivery.
  • Provide ongoing portfolio review, rebalancing recommendations, and performance tracking support.
  • Ensure high standards of client communication, timely advisory updates, and superior client experience.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of Mutual Funds, Financial Planning, Portfolio Management, Retirement Planning, and investment products.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Looker Studio, NGEN Software, and CRM tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client advisory skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple client portfolios simultaneously.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation is mandatory.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or investment advisory roles (preferred).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
