Role & responsibilities

Certification Leader

• Lead and manage product certification and conformity assessment activities for global and regional markets.
  
• Plan, monitor, and execute certification programs in line with applicable standards and directives.
  
• Ensure compliance with international standards including:
  

• General Standards:

  IEC 61010-1, IEC 62052-31, IEC 61326-1

• Metering Standards:

  IEC 62052-11, IEC 62053 series (21 / 22 / 23 / 24)
• Ensure adherence to regulatory directives such as

  LVD, EMC, MID, RoHS, RED

  , and other applicable schemes.
• Prepare, review, and maintain

  Technical Files (TFS)

  ,

  Declarations of Conformity (DoC)

  , and related compliance documentation.
• Provide expert guidance to Offer Owners and project teams on national and international market access requirements.
  
• Coordinate with certification bodies, external test laboratories, and internal design teams to ensure smooth certification processes.
  
• Address and resolve technical queries related to standards, testing, and compliance assessments.
  
• Support audits, certification reviews, and design validation activities.
  
• Stay updated with evolving global standards, regulations, and certification trends.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong experience in managing product certification projects independently.
  
• Hands-on expertise in

  CE compliance

  ,

  Technical File (TFS)

  preparation, and documentation review.
• Deep understanding of

  metering standards (IEC 62052 / IEC 62053 series)

  .
• Proven ability to resolve technical queries related to product standards and compliance.
  
• Experience working with certification bodies and test laboratories.

• Experience as a technical reviewer or lead reviewer for certification documentation.
  
• Knowledge of

  RF and wireless compliance

  (RED Directive).
• Familiarity with global certification schemes such as

  UL, CB, UKCA, FCC, RCM, MID

  .
• Experience coordinating test plans, validating test results, and managing lab engagements.
  
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  
• Ability to mentor and guide teams on standards interpretation and certification best practices.
