CDP-Bakery and Confectionery Baker

You are responsible for opening the bakery early in the morning, cleaning kitchen equipment and tools before use, and weighing flour and other ingredients to prepare dough. Additionally, you will bake different bread types such as pretzels, baguettes, and multigrain breads, as well as mix various ingredients to create fillings for cakes and pies. You must adjust oven temperatures to ensure proper baking, decorate cakes with glazes, icings, buttercream, and edible toppings, and shape dough to prepare different types of pastries. Furthermore, you will prepare custom-made pastries based on customers" preferences and recommend recipes to renew the menu to attract more customers. Tracking food supplies and placing orders as needed are also part of your responsibilities. Qualifications and skills required for this role include having experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef, or similar role, familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, understanding of food safety practices, and experience with cake decoration techniques. You should possess excellent time-management skills, the ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment, a team spirit with a customer-focused attitude, and flexibility to work in early morning shifts. The job type for this position is full-time, and the benefits include food provided and Provident Fund. The ability to commute or relocate to Calicut, Kerala, is required. A Bachelor's degree is also required for this position, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chef.
