As a CCTV Technician at our dynamic security services team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of client premises through effective system design, installation, and service. Your technical expertise will be instrumental in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of surveillance and security systems. **Key Responsibilities:** - Install, configure, and test CCTV cameras, sensors, IDS, alarms, fire alarm systems, and other security hardware according to schematics and system design plans. - Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot system issues using remote access software and diagnostic tools. - Assist in integrating security systems with telecommunication networks, power supplies, and building automation controls. - Document installation processes, system configurations, and service reports accurately for future reference. - Provide field service support, collaborating with construction teams during new builds or renovations. **Qualifications Required:** - Proven experience as a service technician specializing in CCTV, security systems, or low voltage electrical installations. - Strong knowledge of computer networking principles related to surveillance and security systems. - Mechanical knowledge for handling hand tools, power tools, cable management, and lock smithing tasks. - Familiarity with system design concepts, technical manuals, and schematics for surveillance layouts and alarm configurations. - Electrical experience related to cabling, power supplies, and NEC compliance standards. - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently in complex security environments. - Valid field service certification or relevant technical training; construction background or locksmithing experience is advantageous.
