Job Description

A CCTV Technician installs, maintains, and repairs closed-circuit television systems, ensuring optimal surveillance and security. This role involves a combination of technical skills, problem-solving, and customer interaction. Key Responsibilities: Installation: Setting up and configuring CCTV cameras, running cables, connecting power sources, and integrating systems with other security components like alarms and access control. Maintenance: Regularly inspecting, cleaning, and adjusting cameras, as well as diagnosing and repairing any faults or issues with the system. Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving problems with cameras, recording equipment (DVRs/NVRs), and other associated hardware and software. System Upgrades: Implementing upgrades to existing CCTV systems to enhance functionality and performance. Customer Interaction: Providing technical support to clients, explaining system operation, and addressing any concerns or questions. Record Keeping: Maintaining logs of security incidents, equipment maintenance, and system configurations.
