Role & responsibilities Transfer pricing compliances across industries: Master File, Local File, Country-By-Country Reporting, Disclosure Forms and TP certificates; TP dispute resolutions & APA: Representing clients before revenue authorities, Dispute Resolution Panels, Income Tax Appellate Tribunals and briefing counsels; Advising clients on analysing taxability of cross border transactions applying Indian tax laws and tax treaties including impact of Multi-lateral Instruments (MLI) Advising client on TP and PE risk exposure due to COVID related disruptions and TP issues in procurement function and marketing functions Development of tax products/services which can add value to the taxpayers and can be marketed amongst existing and potential clients Independently handle tax engagements. Prepare submissions, attend to assessment and appeal hearings before the CIT(A) and Tribunals. Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with the tax authorities, relevant members of the business and functional teams, other members of the local tax and international tax teams and external service providers. Advising clients on various international tax matters like PE exposure, availability of Most Favoured Nation clause of tax treaty, taxability of fiscally transparent entity from tax treaty standpoint, equalisation levy and implication of SEP in India for non-treaty countries. Job description: Ensure timely direct tax compliances such as quarterly advance tax payments, income tax returns, transfer pricing report, CbCR, Master file, reviewing tax audit report and filing other statutory forms to be filed along with income tax return. Preparation of technical responses in response to income tax notices, appeals, assessments. Liaising with consultants and counsels from time to time. Ensuring good drafting of the technical responses. Reviewing of monthly transfer pricing workings and ensuring adherence to group. Transfer Pricing policy. Reviewing and providing comments on the benchmarking report prepared by consultants. Advisory on withholding tax matters, review of tax related clauses in MSA and SOW. Highlighting risk with respect to POEM, PE etc. Maintaining a tracker for ongoing litigations, preparing quarterly tax updates for Board & Audit Committee slides Provide inputs for successful implementation of new ERP software. Assist in preparing cost benefit analysis for setting up new entity/branch etc. Reviewing of monthly and annual GST compliances and ensuring timely filing of the same.

Leading the team, proactively addressing team issues, and focusing on development of the team keeping in perspective the practice requirements. Building client relationships including but not limited to internal cross service line teams and contributing to the technology focus areas of the practice.
