Skills Required:

1. Strong experience in developing global and best in class category management and In-depth knowledge of sourcing processes as well as linkage to category strategies in direct procurement

2. Automobile/ Mechanical Engineering Bachelors degree in a related field ( Supply Chain Management, Business, technology etc.).

3. 5+ years of work experience preferably in an operations and 3+ years experience managing direct procurement reporting and category strategy support or running related finance/procurement operations

4. Strong proficiency in Purchase-to-pay tools (e.g. KBM (AS400), SAP Ariba etc. )

5. Strong proficiency in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

1. Lead and provide support for category/industry market intelligence and benchmarking to identify commercial opportunities in support of creation of Category Strategies in direct material

2. Produce Category Management metrics to monitor and develop the ongoing performance of Direct Category Strategies

3. Provide outstanding global customer service across all local office and times zones; delivering consistent service standards and meeting service levels for all requests and enquiries

4. Develop services and business processes that scale to support the global roll out of Category Strategy and Planning using Agile ways of working in partnership with the Process Engineer

5. Liaison with client lead and support Category Strategy and Planning operations team : aligning goals, resource and performance

6. Ensure a strong governance mechanism and stewardship is in place for effective delivery of resilient, consistent and compliant/auditable operations, process and quality control documentation

7. Define and proactively manage service levels (SLAs), reporting metrics and KPIs for all Category Strategy and Planning activities

8. Maintain end to end master data to a high level of data integrity through robust data gathering, analysis and dashboard / reporting working in partnership with the Category Strategy and Planning Analyst

9. Continuously improve stakeholder experience, utilization and business processes; applying standardization, simplification and automation, work in collaboration with Change Management and other team
