Cashier

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ensure every customer leaves satisfied with their experience.

Transaction Handling

• Operate the cash register or POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently.
• Scan items accurately and ensure prices are correct.
• Process various payment methods — cash, debit/credit cards, mobile payments, and gift cards.
• Issue receipts, refunds, exchanges, or credits according to company policies.
• Count and verify cash at the beginning and end of each shift.

Cash and Security Management

• Maintain accuracy in all financial transactions.
• Prevent loss by staying alert to potential theft or fraud.
• Follow cash-handling and security procedures strictly.
• Report any suspicious activities or discrepancies immediately

Teamwork and Communication

• Work closely with supervisors and co-workers to ensure smooth store operations.
• Report problems (technical issues, low stock, or customer concerns) promptly.
• Support other staff when checkout traffic is low (e.g., stocking shelves, cleaning).

Compliance and Policies

• Follow company rules, safety procedures, and dress code.
• Protect customer privacy and handle personal data responsibly.
• Comply with laws related to cash handling, returns, and receipts.
