Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cashier located in Chennai. The Cashier will be responsible for handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently, processing payments, issuing receipts, and balancing the cash register. Additional responsibilities include greeting customers, answering queries, bagging merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. The Cashier will ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.

Qualifications

Experience in handling cash transactions, using POS systems, and balancing cash registers
Strong customer service and communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in transactions
Basic math skills and ability to handle financial transactions
Ability to work well in a team and maintain a positive attitude
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in retail or cashier roles is a plus
