Cashier for Restaurant

Role Overview:

We are looking for a reliable and well-presented Restaurant Cashier (Male) to manage all cash and billing operations efficiently at our restaurant. You will be the key point of contact for customers at the billing counter, ensuring accuracy, friendliness, and speed in all financial transactions and guest interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all customer billing transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems.
• Process payments via cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, or other digital platforms.
• Issue receipts, refunds, or change as required.
• Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries about bills or menu items.
• Ensure the cash drawer is balanced at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier desk.
• Collaborate with service staff to ensure smooth order-to-payment workflow.
• Assist in daily sales reporting and submit transaction summaries to the manager.
• Handle customer concerns or escalate them to supervisors when necessary.
• Follow all restaurant policies and hygiene standards.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in a cashier or customer service role (preferably in restaurants, cafes, or QSRs).
• Basic math skills and familiarity with POS and billing software.
• Presentable appearance with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Trustworthy, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
