Cash Application Specialist

As a Financial Support Specialist at Novartis, your role involves supporting financial activities, performing GL reconciliations, maintaining accurate cash volume data, preparing timely reports, contributing to FRA projects, and coordinating with process SMEs. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing timely and proactive support to the GL, TCM team & In-country team. - Maintaining accurate and timely fixed cash volume & value information in the fixed register and performing GL reconciliation. - Preparing analysis or reporting with particular emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of data provided. - Working with direct managers and stakeholders to support financial activities, decision making, and general projects. - Contributing to FRA projects at the country or BU level. - Coordinating with process SMEs on technical complaints, adverse events, and special case scenarios. - Providing all data needed for internal and external audits as and when required within the stipulated timelines. To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following essential requirements: - University Degree in Commerce or Business Administration; MBA or M.Com preferred. - Minimum 3+ years of overall experience in handling cash applications. - Hands-on experience with SAP / S4HANA; familiarity with HighRadius is a plus. - Strong grasp of accounting concepts, including GL reconciliations and account balancing. - Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
