As a Cash Management Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that transactions are processed efficiently while acting as a subject matter expert (SME) and recommending process improvements. You will be expected to evaluate and recommend solutions to problems by utilizing data analysis, technical experience, and precedent. Additionally, you will need to anticipate and respond to requests for deliverables from internal and external clients and vendors. Collaboration on cash & trade operations projects will also be part of your role, requiring you to develop a comprehension of how the team interacts with others to achieve objectives. Your role will include appropriately assessing risk when making business decisions, with a focus on safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. This involves driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency. To qualify for this position, previous relevant experience is preferred. A fundamental comprehension of financial industry regulations is required, along with effective verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong analytical abilities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
