A Case Manager specializing in USA Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) claimants with 3-5 years experience is expected to handle a claimant cases, facilitate the preparation and filing of disability claims, and guide claimants through the SSDI adjudication process.

This position is highly impactful, offering the opportunity to support claimants through a critical and complex government benefits process, ensuring fair adjudication and timely resolutions

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee a high-volume caseload (typically 20 New intakes to 150+ existing SSDI cases)

File appeals, recon requests, and intervene on cases needing urgent attention

Analyze medical records to determine disability claim eligibility and completeness

Complete and submit SSA forms and filing appeals, Track deadlines, appeals and hearing

Collaborate with SSA/DDS, medical providers, and legal professionals to resolve claim issues, expedite case resolution, and ensure compliance

Maintain accurate case records, documentation, charting, and updates within electronic systems (often Filevine CMS & CRM tools like Lead Docket)

Coach claimants through steps needed to secure supporting medical evaluations

Advise on available government and community benefits and support services

Prehearing preparation - making sure all the records are in the file, accurate while it's submitted for Attorney's final review 

Provide feedback to improve technology and operational processes supporting SSDI adjudication

Track payment and collections of payment 

Notices and Physical mails updates - with the help of Scanned copy and take further action 

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in social work, psychology, healthcare administration, disability management, or related field

3-5 years hands-on experience managing SSDI/SSI claims or disability casework for USA clients

Thorough understanding of the Social Security disability process (application, appeals, DDS/SSA forms)

Familiarity with medical and technical documentation related to disability claims

Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills to handle high caseload volume

Technology literate: experience with CRM tools like Salesforce preferred

Strong communication, advocacy, and problem-solving skills; able to work both independently and collaboratively

Preferred Attributes

Experience working in a fast-paced, client-focused consulting, healthcare, or government environment

Ability to pivot and adapt to changing regulatory and procedural requirements
