What You'll Do:

• Create original and engaging

  political/editorial cartoons

  based on current events.
• Collaborate with editorial/content teams to develop timely and relevant visual commentary.
• Translate complex political themes into

  humorous, satirical, or impactful visuals

  .
• Stay informed on Indian and Tamil Nadu politics, elections, policies, and trends.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years as a

  professional cartoonist

  , ideally in media or political commentary.
• Strong

  portfolio of political cartoons

  –

  applications without a portfolio will not be considered

  .
• Excellent illustration skills – digital or hand-drawn (Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, etc.).
• Deep understanding of

  Indian political landscape

  (Tamil Nadu knowledge is a plus).
• Strong visual storytelling, satire, and editorial sensibility.
• Fluent in English (Tamil proficiency is a bonus).

Nice to Have:

• Experience in news media, publishing, or digital editorial teams.
• Degree in Fine Arts, Visual Communication, Journalism, or related fields.
• Familiarity with press standards and political sensitivity.
