Job Title: Carpentry Supervisor Location: Ernakulam District Accommodation: Provided Employment Type: Full-Time Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpentry Supervisor to oversee carpentry and furniture manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in Civil Engineering (ITI or Diploma) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience. This role involves supervising carpentry work, ensuring quality standards, and managing site activities effectively. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily activities of carpentry workers and technicians. Oversee production of furniture and wooden fittings as per design and quality specifications. Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining high-quality standards. Monitor the use of materials and equipment, minimizing wastage. Ensure safety standards are maintained at the site. Coordinate with project managers, designers, and clients as needed. Maintain documentation of work progress and report to management. Requirements: Qualification: ITI or Diploma in Civil Engineering. Experience: Minimum 2 years in a furniture manufacturing or carpentry works industry. Strong understanding of woodworking tools, machines, and materials. Ability to lead a team and manage site-level challenges effectively. Good communication and organizational skills.
